An opportunity for a local has arrived and Franklin locals can have the chance to get behind the scenes at the ITM Supersprint in Pukekohe this November.
Ever wanted to get up close and personal to the adrenaline pumping ITM Supersprint? Hardware Engineering Supplies (HES) Pukekohe, on Manukau Road, in conjunction with Gear Wrench and Red Bull Holden Racing team are offering an experience like no other.
“It’s an amazing opportunity. The chance of a lifetime,” said Sarah James from HES Pukekohe. One lucky local could win the experience of being part of the pit crew for V8’s Red Bull Holden racing team during the Auckland round of the annual series.
HES’s Evan Bedingham said, “It’ll be great for someone who’s passionate about motorsport and has some vehicle knowledge.”
“Red Bull have only offered this a few times, but it’s nice for it to be in our area, and have a local get involved,” Sarah said.
In Australia, 21 year old Zach Davis, an apprentice mechanic from Darwin won the Red Bull opportunity about three years ago. He has since moved to Queensland in a full time position with the team.
To enter the competition, all you need to do is purchase Gear Wrench product from HES Pukekohe,be over 18 years old and be available Friday 2 to Sunday 4 November 2018.
Their store is located at 139 Manukau Road, Pukekohe. Applications for the competition must be in by Saturday 20 October 2018. HES also have a toolbox and two signed socket sets for sale, signed by drivers in this year’s ITM Supersprint.
