Trucking for a cause

When local business Pukekohe Hiab Transport responded to a call for help late last year, they didn’t realise they were going to become Harold’s helpers.

Owners Craig and Janine Morris cheerfully agreed to be the pro-bono transport company for the local Life Education mobile classroom and move the classroom from school to school. This year they have moved the mobile classroom to over 16 local schools and over 5000 local children have benefitted from the lessons taught.
Local Educator Sally Miles loves dealing with Pukekohe Hiab Transport.
“The team at PHT deserve big thumbs up,” says Sally.
“They are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. Franklin is a very large geographical area and PHT have happily done all my moves from Pokeno to Awhitu.”
The mobile classroom is a unique multi-sensory environment that engages children being taught.
The classrooms are air-conditioned and equipped with sight, sound and aroma technologies and three-dimensional film technology that make learning in the mobile classrooms, a fascinating experience.
