There are less than two weeks before nominations for the Franklin Junior Sports Awards close.
Adam Chwesik coordinator for Counties Manukau Sport said the award is a special event. “It’s a great opportunity to celebrate the exceptional individuals, teams, officials and volunteers achieving so much on the local, national and international stage. For these talented sports people to be recognised firstly they need to be nominated which is why we are pushing nominations.”
This year the categories are:
Junior official/administrator of the year, Junior coach of the year, Team of the year. U13 sportswoman of the year, U13 sportsman of the year, U16 sportswoman of the year, U16 sportsman of the year, U19 sportswoman of the year, U19 sportsman of the year, Junior rising star, Sporting excellence of the year and Volunteer Recognition Ceremony, which has previously been a separate event.
The awards night will be held at Franklin: The Centre, on Friday 16 March and nominations close on Friday 23 February.
