Teens arrested for aggravated robbery at Bombay

At approximately 4:30am on Tuesday 14 November Police received a report of an aggravated robbery at a petrol station on Mill Road, Bombay.
Detective Sergeant Veronica McPherson said a group of males entered the store and jumped the front counter, they took tobacco products and the cash register.
“Two staff members and a customer were in the store at the time,” she said. “A staff member and the customer were assaulted during the incident and both received minor injuries. Support is being provided to these victims.”
The offenders left the scene in two vehicles. Both cars were located by Police during the course of enquiries shortly after the robbery.
Three offenders have been arrested.
Two 15-year-old males and a 14-year-old male have been charged with aggravated robbery and are due to appear in Manukau Youth Court on Monday 27 November.
Police are continuing to make enquiries into the matter.
As this matter is now before the Court, Police cannot comment further.
