Record numbers at duathlon

Clouds threatened, but nothing was going to stop more than 490 committed kids as they hit the V8 track last Tuesday, for the Pukekohe Raceway Kids Obstacle Duathlon. The event was a classic run-bike-run challenge with a twist, featuring fun obstacles incorporated into the final run leg. Bombay School took out seven podium spots, followed closely by Karaka School with six top three placings. Here are the results. For heaps  more photos, check our Facebook page.
