Papakura incident – police looking for offender

Police were called to reports of one shot fired in Short Street, Papakura at about 7.26pm on Friday 8 December 2017.

A man, who is known to police, was sought in relation to this, and armed front-line police were used to try and locate him.

The man was not located after extensive searching, however Police have some firm lines of inquiry to follow up and these are ongoing.

Police believe there is no risk to the public and no one has reported any injuries in relation to this.
