One arrested for aggravated robbery of petrol station



Just before 10pm last night, (Wednesday 14 June), Gas Waiuku on Kitchener Road was the subject of an aggravated robbery.
Three people entered the petrol station, armed with a weapon, and proceeded to take several items.
Waiuku Police were nearby, and with units from Pukekohe in attendance, were able to arrest one male in relation to the incident.
A police dog unit were able to track the male, who wasn’t too far from scene.
The male has since appeared in the Pukekohe District Court, and has been charged with aggravated robbery.
The Crime Squad are continuing their investigation, and will be making further inquiries.
