After reading about the plight of the Mudlark’s stolen dinghy, David Allan, General Manager at Jimbos Petfood, has gone the extra mile by purchasing a replacement for them.

“I think I have the Nike attitude and just do it. I spend quite a bit of time on the Harbour and see all the good work that they do. If I have half their energy and half their purpose when I am at their age, I would be a happy man.” The Mudlarks have been blown away by the support they have received from the community.
“We are constantly amazed at the generosity of the community to the Mudlarks and the gift of a dinghy from David Allan, to replace the one that was stolen, is another example of that generosity,” said Dave Gribble.
Shortly before they were gifted the dinghy by Dave, the team were given the loan of another dinghy from a Waiuku couple. “Subsequently, they very kindly gifted it to us so we now have two dinghies. I am sure they will both be put to good use and give us some flexibility,” said Dave.
