The Mangatangi Crossroads Church aims to come alive with festivity and celebration on Christmas Eve, through a night of family, food and performances from globally recognised talent.

It will feature a diverse range of exciting international acts from Franklin’s home-grown talent.
Jazz artist Andrew Faleatua from Pukekohe will be leading the music for the night. He is currently in his third year of his PhD in Jazz at the Sydney University, and has been recently nominated as a finalist for Apra Best Pacific Song at the NZ Pacific Music Awards. He plans to release his debut album by the end of 2015.
Joshua Faleatua, also from Pukekohe and part of the CRE8 Dance Crew, is a silver and gold hiphop medallist, taking out these placings at the World Hip Hop champs in the USA for 2014 and 2015 respectively.
Latafale Auva’a, from Papakura, is a top vocalist and is studying law at Otago University. She is currently in China competing in the Miss World Pageant, after having secured the titles of Miss Samoan NZ, Miss Samoa, Miss Pacific Islands and Miss World Samoa in 2014-2015.
The family friendly night begins at 8pm, and will feature a scrumptious supper and several children’s performances.
There will also be traditional carols and a Nativity scene involving many children. Pastor, Steve Millward, has high hopes for the evening as he endeavours to unite the community during this celebratory time of the year. “It’s a great time of year to bring people together.
