Robbed Again

Waiuku’s GAS service station has been robbed again, the second time in less than a month. A frustrated owner, Pankaj, spoke to the Post and confirmed that at around 3.47am on Thursday morning July 23, four masked individuals, wearing hoodies and gloves, ram-raided the station’s front door, sending glass flying everywhere. They were driving a dark red or maroon MPV Mazda and got away with a number of items from the shop, including cigarettes.

One of Tuakau’s newest business owners, Srieng Choeu of the Fresh Bun Café in George Street, won two gold medals and a bronze at the Bakels New Zealand Supreme Pie Awards last week.
