Ice Skate Tour
May 10 @ 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Be prepared for a cool but not cold ice skating experience.
The Ice Skate Tour travels around New Zealand with state of the art, artificial ice rinks. They look like ice and have 97% same gliding capacity as natural ice. Surrounded by an inflatable boarding and helmets + gloves provided at no charge (both compulsory for kids) it’s the safest possible way to try ice skating.
Prices are $7 for kids under 16, $13 for adults and $35 for a family pass (2 adults + 2 kids) which includes ice skates, helmet, gloves and at least half an hour ice skating (longer if capacity allows).
MoreFM will complete the experience with their bubble machines and will have the music cranking. Check out iceskatetour.co.nz for more details.
EFTPOS and credit card facilities are available at the ice skate rink.

Jennian Homes Mother's Day Fun Run/Walk

The nationwide Jennian Homes Mother’s Day Fun Run/Walk returns this year, offering women the chance to have fun, get active and support a worthy cause.
There’s a reason we run this event every year. Heart disease is the single biggest killer of Kiwi women, claiming the lives of over 3,000 women each year. We have partnered up with the Heart Foundation to support its ‘Heart Foundation for Women’ campaign, which aims to help stop our women dying prematurely of heart disease.
Join us for a 5km run, walk or leisurely stroll this Mother’s Day.
With 20+ events nationwide, it’ll be a great start to the day and you’ll be doing your bit to help beat heart disease.
All participants will receive a Dick Frizzell designed event t-shirt. Register before 31 March 2017 to receive early bird pricing.
For more information and ticket sales visit the website.
