Saturday 10 June 2017 saw Bombay Gough Cat remain atop the standings, retain the Counties Power Cup and won the Counties Power Game of the Week with a dominant 22-3 win over Ardmore Marist South Auckland Motors at Bruce Pulman Park.
The three-time defending champions flexed their muscles in a performance that serves warning for their fellow contenders as they put one hand on top spot heading towards the semifinals.
Patumahoe Hotel kept pace with Bombay with a convincing 24-5 bonus point win over Onewhero Counties Bulk Haulage at Patumahoe.
Karaka remained in the battle for a top two spot and a crucial home semifinal with an impressive 29-12 win over Waiuku Brian James Contracting.
Pukekohe Mitre 10 Mega made it three wins on the bounce with a 27-8 win over Papakura Ray White.
Manurewa Kidd Contracting likewise kept themselves alive for another week with a 27-13 win over Te Kauwhata EnviroWaste.
