ANZAC day commerations a family affair

As ANZAC day approached, four generations of the Golding family did their bit for the memory of fallen soldiers.

On Thursday 20 April, Brien Golding, his daughter, grand-daughter and great-grandchildren laid poppies on the 26 memorial stones at the Pukekohe Memorial by Pukekohe Intermediate School.

Brien places poppies on the stones every year and this year decided he would invite the next generations of his family to join him.

Casey McLean with her two children Isaac Taylor and Brooklyn Taylor, Patrick McLean, Debra McLean and Brien Golding all laid poppies on the Memorial stones.
