Thanks to the quick response from a resident, two people are being spoken to in regards to a burglary.
Around 2pm on Thursday 6 April, a burglary took place in Waiuku.
A resident noted down a registration plate of a vehicle they thought was acting suspicious and called local Police straight away.
Early Friday morning, Waiuku police executed a search warrant at an address, and were able to locate the stolen property. Two people are now being spoken to by Police.
"Because this member of the community contacted Police immediately, it enabled us to follow up and act on the information straight away," says Sergeant Graeme Wood.
