Pukekohe Police are seeking help from the public to identify two young men involved in an assault in Hickeys Reserve, Pukekohe North.

On Tuesday 21 March, the victim was walking home through Hickeys Reserve between Dublin Street and Ranch Place, when she was followed into the reserve by two men. She was grabbed by one of the men but managed to fight him off and screamed, which caused them to run away.

The two young men are described as the following:

 First man: 

  • Maori aged in his 20’s
  • Solid build
  • Black clothing, hoodie and cap.
  • He had a black bandana over his mouth with a white pattern on it.

Second man:

  • Maori aged 18-19 years old
  • Black shorts, white t-shirt, zip-up grey hoodie with a short-sleeved black jacket over the top
  • He had a blue bandana over his face with a white pattern on it
