Franklin based Geordy and Jodie Booth operate the Home Grown Food Truck.
The husband and wife team have more than 20 years experience in the hospitality industry and are passionate about good food and delivering a gourmet kiwi food experience.
As well as attending markets, they offer catering for events such as weddings.
The freedom of a mobile food outlet means the duo can travel to share their food and passion.
Their big red truck runs off gas and has solar panels, making it fully self-contained and able to reach places formerly thought to be off the grid.
Geordy and Jodie also use locally sourced produce to create the best tasting food.
Their menu offers a range of kiwi favourites including pulled pork bap, Tempura battered hot dogs and Whitebait fritters in season. Their homemade burgers are always a hit, and they also offer crumbed calamari salad.
Look out for the red 'Home grown food truck,' and try out the gourmet kiwi classics for yourself.
To experience food truck cuisine, check out Franklin Night Food markets on Thursdays 6pm-9pm at the Massey Avenue carpark in Pukekohe.
