Local resident, Simon Cave, seized the opportunity last week to photograph just how much of a tight squeeze the Tuakau Bridge can be.
On Friday 10 February, two trucks were faced with trying to fit on the Tuakau Bridge.
With signs at either end asking drivers to give way to wide loads, the result saw the driver of the green truck having to tuck in his mirror to allow the red rig to pass.
The photo was posted on a social media page. The post soon sparked a debate as to who was in the wrong, as well as many residents seeing the humorous side to the photo.
"I posted it up for a laugh and a bit of a reminder just how tight the bridge can be at times. While traffic was held up a bit, they each got past and there was no harm done. We all make mistakes from time to time," laughs Simon.
