Local business sets sights on national awards
Franklin based building company Customkit has been the recipient of a number of local and international awards for residential projects recently. Now the business has entered The New Zealand Commercial Project Awards (CPA).
The Awards, an evolution of the RMB Commercial Project Awards and now in its fifth year, are open to all New Zealand commercial construction project partners, including contractors, architects, quantity surveyors, engineers and property owners. They aim to recognise not only the building itself, but also the team behind it.
Valued by contractors, their commercial construction partners, and clients alike, these awards celebrate the work of a team in delivering a ‘mark of quality’.
Customkit will be vying against 83 other national projects for Gold, Silver and Bronze awards as well as National Category wins, Special Awards and, of course, the Supreme Award. The winners will be announced on 12 May 2017 at a ceremony held at the Langham Hotel in Auckland.
Customkit managing director Michael Anselmi says entering the awards gives the company the opportunity to show case its commercial capabilities plus demonstrate the premium they put on team work.

“Customkit relies on cooperation and collaboration. We count on our internal team to start the process and then work closely with a network of builders and other suppliers to complete projects. Any opportunity we have to celebrate the success of this approach is worth grabbing.”
