Franklin based Customkit Buildings has won coveted awards on Houzz, a world renown platform for home renovation and design.
The local company, established in 1993 by Michael Anselmi, was chosen by more than 40 million monthly unique users that comprise the Houzz community including more than one million active home building, renovation and design industry professionals from around the world.
The Best Of Houzz is awarded annually in three categories: Design, Service and Photography. Customkit have won two of the three categories, Best of Design and Service, which is considered a special achievement.
Design award winners’ work was the most popular among the more than 40 million monthly users on Houzz, while Customer Service honors are based on several factors, including the number and quality of client reviews a professional received in 2016.
Michael Anselmi says winning any sort of award is always an honour.
“But to be judged on the international stage and to come up with recognition from a wide and discerning group of talented and knowledgeable people is a stunning achievement that my team, our key suppliers and I are delighted about.”
“It also shows that we recognise the important role that new technology and sites like Houzz play in the decision making process. We’re a small company from a small part of New Zealand but we demonstrate that if you think big and take on the world in a positive way, you can achieve immense results.”
“We’re so pleased to be awarded Best of Houzz 2017 to this incredible group of talented and customer-focused professionals, including Customkit. Each of these businesses was singled out for recognition by our community of homeowners and design enthusiasts for helping to turn their home improvement dreams into reality,” says Jason Chuck, Managing Director Houzz Asia-Pacific.
