The SPCA held their annual appeal over the weekend. More than 1600 volunteers pulled on their animal onesies, picked up a collection bucket and took to the streets with their four legged friends to raise money for animals in need in Auckland.
Last year they raised $165,000 with hopes they have surpassed the number this year to cater for all the extra animals that have been brought in to SPCA clinics across the area. The annual appeal focuses on getting justice for injured and abused animals.
